CFS teams are trained to approach challenges with a forward-thinking mindset and a strong focus on business continuity and emergency preparedness. So, when a recent hurricane impacted sites across the Southern region, the swift, agile response from the high-performing management team at Southern Company came as no surprise. CFS quickly organized and managed a team of more than 50 vendor partners and employees to provide immediate, on-site support in affected areas.

CFS teams provided critical assistance not only to regional sites in the storm’s path but also to 33 base camps established across the state of Georgia. Following established standard operating procedures—and working closely with Colliers subject matter experts and trusted vendor partners—management teams rapidly set up each base camp and later oversaw breakdown and relocation efforts.

Support services ranged from janitorial and landscaping to pest control—ensuring facility access remained clear and operations could continue smoothly.

In total, storm response efforts directly managed by the CFS team represented more than $375,000 in operational support.
